What is i-flex® / Where does it come from?
i-flex ® is a joint health solution containing a 100% natural, specialized and patented form of rosehip powder from carefully selected sources. The i-flex ® product is a capsule that contains this specialized rosehip powder.
What is a rosehip / What is rosa canina?
A rose hip is a “fruit” or “bud” of the rose bush that is left after the actual rose flower has flowered. Rosa canina is the latin plant name given to this particular form of rosehip. The rosehip is harvested and frozen to preserve the nutritional value of the fruit. The “peach fuzz” or “tiny hairs” are removed from the surface of the fruit, then it is slowly dried, milled and encapsulated to make i-flex ®.
Is i-flex® clinically proven?
i-flex® is backed by not 1, not 2, but 3 published clinical studies consisting of over 300 people. These studies are randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind clinical studies – a study design that is considered the “gold standard” by the scientific community. Taking the specialized rosehip powder used in i-flex®helps to soothe joints, improve joint mobility/ function and improve quality of life. In a recent clinical study, 82% of people experienced this joint soothing effect… that equals 4 out of 5 people. There are also two pilot studies, one additional unpublished clinical study and one published meta-analysis. All the studies consistently demonstrate the efficacy and safety of i-flex®.
How does i-flex® work to soothe my joints?
In-vitro studies show that the antioxidant action and the unique activity of i-flex® may prevent damaging cell reactions caused by chemokines (KE-MO-Kines) and interleukins (inter-LU-kins) in your joint6-8. These studies also found that i-flex® helps reduce the oxidative activity that speeds the deterioration of your joints.
The specialized rosehip powder in i-flex ® also contains many important components that contribute to its joint-soothing properties. Chief among these ingredients is a galactolipid (guh-lack-toe-lip-id), which has been shown in published scientific studies to support joint health. Scientists believe that these galactolipids may work by restricting the flow of white blood cells into joint space and joint tissue. These white blood cells could otherwise contribute to further deterioration of joint health. Other important naturally-occurring components include antioxidants vitamin C, vitamin E, beta carotene, other minerals and bioflavonoids.
How long does i-flex® take to work?
A recent clinical study has shown that the specialized rosehip powder in i-flex® can work in as little as 3 weeks. Although there are no direct comparison studies with glucosamine, separate studies suggest that glucosamine hydrochloride (hydro-clore-ide) typically takes from 6 to 8 weeks to start to feel an effect!
Is i-flex® safe / Does i-flex® have any side effects?
i-flex® is safe. Rosehip powder has a long history of safe use as a food in Europe and the United States…hundreds of years of safe use!
This gentle and natural dietary supplement has shown no side effects different from placebo in all clinical studies. Even doses of up to 45g per day, which is about ten times the recommended daily dose, have been well tolerated!
Is it all natural?
i-flex® is 100% natural and completely drug-free with NO preservatives. It’s also derived from a plant (the wild rosebush), not animals. Did you know that glucosamine typically comes from the exoskeletons (X-O-skeletons) of ground up shellfish?
Additionally, i-flex® contains: NO dairy, NO sugar, NO gluten, NO fillers or binders and is non-gmo!
How do I take i-flex®
How many pills do I have to take?
How many times per day do I take it?
We recommend to start with 3 capsules, twice per day. After you begin to feel benefits, you may choose to reduce the dose to effect, which may be 2 capsules twice per day. The dosage can be adapted to personal physical condition, but we do not recommend an intake of less than 4 capsules per day. As with any dietary supplement, dosage may vary from person to person.
How big is the bottle / How long will one bottle last me?
One bottle of i-flex ® has 120 capsules. At 3 capsules twice per day (4½ grams per day), the initial bottle will last for 20 days. After you begin to feel benefits, however, you may choose to reduce the dose to 2 capsules twice per day. At this rate, one bottle will last you 30 days.
How big are the i-flex® capsules?
The i-flex ® capsules are size double zero (00) gelatin capsules and contain 750 milligrams of the specialized rosehip powder. This is slightly smaller than an inch in length, only a quarter of an inch in diameter and similar to most of the glucosamine and glucosamine / chondroitin products that are on the market.
For how long should I continue taking i-flex®?
i-flex® has been shown to provide significant joint health benefits in as little as three weeks, but we recommend to continue taking i-flex® to prevent these benefits from disappearing.
Don’t forget, i-flex® is NOT a drug, it’s a natural product made from rosehips, and should become part of your every day supplement regimen to support a healthy active lifestyle.
Does i-flex® work better than glucosamine and chondroitin?
Although i-flex® was never tested head-to-head against glucosamine / chondroitin, we can make a few comparative assumptions on i-flex® product characteristics and the typical glucosamine/chondroitin products in the market. Additionally, we can compare the independent studies on i-flex® and existing separate studies on glucosamine and chondroitin

What is the difference between i-flex® and regular rosehip powder?
Since many of the components of rosehip powder are heat and light sensitive, great care is taken to process the rosehip powder in i-flex ® under carefully controlled conditions. The rosehips are first frozen upon harvest. Then a patented low-temperature drying process is used to ensure the rosehips are never unnecessarily heated to extreme temperatures. This careful, patented drying process preserves the active components of the gentle rosehip. It’s also what makes i-flex ® unique from other rosehip products, which are typically left in the hot sun to “dry out” the rosehip, causing it to lose its active nutrient value.
I have diabetes and have been told that I cannot take glucosamine or chondroitin. Can I take i-flex® to soothe my joints?
Before taking any supplement, be sure to consult with your doctor about any possible interactions. With that, it’s important to note that i-flex® contains NO added sugars and additionally, i-flex® is NOT a precursor to glucose and it should NOT raise your blood sugar levels.
i-flex ® is manufactured and marketed by DSM, a Global life sciences company that has been in existence for over 100 years. DSM takes product, quality and efficacy very seriously, as they provide the very highest quality vitamins for the supplement, food and beverage brands that people use every day… not just in the U.S., but around the world in over 49 countries.

i-omega™ FAQ

What is i-omega™?
i-omega™ is a brand new premium omega-3 fish oil supplement. You may have heard of “omega-3’s” before. Omega 3’s are a family of healthy, unsaturated fatty acids that are found naturally in large quantities in cold water fish.
Why should I take i-omega™?
Omega-3’s, like the ones found in i-omegav™, have been proven in many clinical studies to help support maximized joint health, heart health, brain health, eye health and immune function, among others. It is one of the best supplements you could be taking right now to support overall healthy living.
How is i-omega™ better than all other omega-3 or fish oil supplements?
There are four main reasons why you should be taking i-omega™ over any other omega-3 or name brand fish oil supplements:
More omega 3’s — i-omega™ has more omega-3’s per capsule than most regular fish oils sold in the market. In fact, i-omega™ contains 500mg omega-3’s per capsule, including 264mg EPA and 139mg DHA, while most commonly available 1200mg large fish oil capsules contain only 300 to 360mg total omega-3’s. So this means, you’re getting more omega-3 for your money with i-omega™.
Much smaller softgel capsules — Because you get more concentrated omega-3’s in i-omega™, we’re able to make smaller capsules so that you may swallow them more easily. In fact, i-omega™ softgels are almost half the size of typical omega-3 fish oil capsules.
i-omega™ won’t repeat on you (no “fish burps”) — While other fish oil supplements give you annoying “fish burps”, i-omega™ won’t, because it is ultra-purified before encapsulation using a patented process called LCS distillation, which is better than typically used molecular distillation.
No artificial flavors — Many fish oil supplements use natural and artificial flavors, like vanilla or lemon, to mask their “fishy taste”. i-omega™ has no artificial flavors at all, because there is no “fishy taste” to mask.
Regarding cost, how does i-omega™ compare to other fish oil supplements?
i-omega™ is one of the most concentrated and purest omega-3 supplements available and contains 72% omega-3’s by weight, with only 6 calories per capsule. Typical 1200mg fish oils contain 30% or less omega-3’s and 10 calories. For this reason, i-omega™ presents a better value to you than many other omega-3 fish oil supplements.
Can I take i-omega™ with i-flex®?
Yes, absolutely. Omega-3 fish oil and the specialized rosehip powder in i-flex® are independently proven to support joint health in well controlled clinical studies.
How do I take i-omega™?
We recommend taking 1 to 2 i-omega™ softgels per day. Many doctors recommend a higher daily dose. Check with your doctor to see what’s best for you.
What are EPA and DHA,
Why are they important,
Why is more considered better?
EPA stands for eicosapentaenoic acid (pronounced eye-ko-suh-pen-ta-i-no-ik acid)
DHA stands for docosahexaenoic acid (pronounced da-ko-suh-heck-suh-i-no-ik acid)
While there are other forms of omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA are considered the two most important types. Clinical studies have linked EPA and DHA to many health benefits and most respectable omega-3 supplements should list the amounts of EPA and DHA in their products.
While i-omega™ capsules are smaller, they contain a higher concentration of EPA and DHA per serving than typical fish oil capsules. This means fewer i-omega™ capsules and less total fat need to be consumed to get the same EPA and DHA levels as a typical fish oil capsule.
One i-omega™ softgel contains 500mg of total fish oil, 264mg EPA and 139mg DHA.
Visit www.fatsoflife.com for more important information on EPA, DHA and on omega-3 fish oil in general.
What fish does i-omega™ come from? Is it farm raised? Where is it manufactured?
i-omega™ fish oil comes from mackerels, sardines and anchovies, which come from sustainable fisheries off the western coast of South America in the Pacific Ocean. i-omega™ does not come from farm raised fish, which are believed to be lower in quality. The omega-3 fish oil is then purified in Switzerland and encapsulated in the U.S.
I’m allergic to shellfish. Can I take i-omega™?
i-omega™ contains no shellfish. The fish oil in i-omega™ is highly refined, deodorized and is exempt from being labeled as a fish allergen. To be sure, however, it’s always a good idea to talk to your doctor first.
The label states that this product “contains soy”; why?
Mixed tocopherols (tock-o-fer-alls), antioxidants that are naturally sourced from soy, are added to i-omega™ to help preserve the omega-3 freshness.
Are there any other allergens present in i-omega™?
i-omega™ contains no dairy, no gluten, no yeast, no sodium, no starch, no sugar and is non-GMO.
Will i-omega™ interfere with my medical condition or medications I’m taking?
Omega-3 fish oil can reduce blood viscosity and is not recommended if you are using blood thinners, taking high doses of aspirin or anticipating surgery. Talk to your doctor if you have a pre-existing medical condition or have any questions about i-omega™.
Does i-omega™ need to be refrigerated?
No, i-omega™ does not need to be refrigerated, but you can refrigerate or freeze them if you wish. The capsules will be fresh until date on the label even when stored between 59 and 86 degrees F.
What is ROPUFA®?
ROPUFA®is the registered brand name of the highest quality omega-3 fish oil sold by DSM Nutritional Products and that is used in i-omega™.
